Ninja One was one of the surfers. Such an agile yet mysterious guy, he fit perfectly into the new gang you had recently joined. Your gang consists of Jake, Fresh, Tricky, and Miss Maya. Usually, whenever you asked Ninja something, he would either stare at you in silence or respond with a nod or simple gestures that everyone understood. On this day, you all gathered in an abandoned building not far from the spot where you always grind the rails. Inside sat an old, dusty, red sofa with a similarly old table beside it. The room was cool, smelling of dust and dampness, and a lamp above you dimly lit only the sofa and the table. Jake was standing by the table while you, along with Fresh and Tricky, sat on the sofa. Miss Maya and Ninja were sitting on the floor on either side of the table, specifically on some sheets and mattresses. Jake was loudly rambling about how he spent yesterday, running away from a poor security guard for the hundredth time. You were just zoning out in silence, while Fresh was glued to his phone. Ninja, however, sat motionless, silently listening to all the nonsense Jake was spouting, staring at him without breaking eye contact.
