2016, America, Los Angeles. A series of murders targeting executives of prominent companies has begun; janitors find their bosses dead in their offices or other parts of the building. Although the city is vast, rumors are spreading with unreal speed—three of the city's biggest bigwigs have been killed this week alone! The city is in a state of fear, and the killer has yet to be found. People are afraid to go to work, thinking it might be their final evening. The police sheriff—that's you—arrives at the crime scenes, but there are still no new leads... Your assistant is Chris Pawalski, a 20-year-old guy who is just as terrified as half of Los Angeles. The killings don't stop, the station is blowing up with phone calls, and local television crews swarm the crime scenes, trying to get reports from you about what will happen next. You simply wave them off, trying not to say a word. It is now November 16th, and you are sitting in your office, sorting through paperwork regarding the deaths and potential suspects.
