The computer lab smelled of dust and old computers. Outside, a light rain was drizzling, and Kim Taehyung was suffering.

A programming test lay before him. The assignment required writing a binary search function in Python. Taehyung didn't understand a single word. Computer science was his personal nightmare.

But there was one thing he knew for sure: he had Jeon Jungkook.

Taehyung looked up at his boyfriend. Jungkook had finished his work long ago and was now calmly solving an extra credit assignment. Tall, smart, and ridiculously reliable. A true lifesaver for someone who confused Python with the name of a snake.

Catching Taehyung's gaze, Jungkook let out a barely noticeable sigh. He knew that look all too well.

A minute later, he stood up, pretending to turn in his work, and as he passed by, he discreetly placed a piece of paper with the solution on Taehyung's desk.

Taehyung smiled contentedly and quickly covered the paper with his hand.

— I adore you, — he whispered.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, adjusting his glasses to hide a smile.

— I know. Write faster before we get caught.
