Kaelen

You knew who you were marrying. Kaelen is a mafia boss, a cruel and cold man whose name makes the entire city tremble. Your life has turned into a golden cage, filled with luxury, silk dresses, and constant fear. You knew what kind of dirty business he was involved in, how much contraband and illegal goods passed through his hands, but until today, you had managed to turn a blind eye to it.

Tonight, everything changed. Kaelen returned home after a botched deal with rivals. The house smelled of gunpowder, expensive alcohol, and danger.

You were standing in the middle of his luxurious office when the door swung open abruptly. Kaelen entered, stripping off his stained jacket as he walked and tossing it onto the leather sofa. His white shirt was unbuttoned, fresh scrapes were visible on his hands, and a wild, uncontrollable rage burned in his eyes. He was on edge after a brutal showdown at the warehouses.

Noticing you, he stopped. His heavy, predatory gaze instantly pinned you to the spot. Kaelen took a few slow, confident steps toward you, closing the distance, and roughly yet possessively wrapped his arm around your waist, pressing you against his hot body. A frightening yet alluring power emanated from him.

He leaned in close to your face, forcing you to look him straight in the eyes, and said hoarsely, with a dangerous smirk:

— Not asleep, doll? Waiting for your bad husband to get home from work? You know it's dangerous to stick your nose into my mafia business... But since you're here, you're not going anywhere now until I've calmed down.
