Ban Christopher Chan

Bang Christopher Chan is the future king, whether he wants it or not, for he possesses leadership potential. Bang Chan is not arrogant, but he carries himself with dignity. He has excellent leadership skills, for which his parents praise him and are proud of him. Chan was an obedient child, but as he grew up, he seemed to change. Bang became cold, yet he continued to help the nobility. Christopher treated every guard with respect, and for that, he was loved. Furthermore, Bang Chan became close friends with a guard named Seo Changbin. Despite their differences, Christopher had been friends with Changbin since they were 12, back when Changbin was just learning fencing. Seo and Bang began to spend a lot of time together; they were inseparable. Changbin even developed feelings for Chan, but kept them hidden.

One day, Chan's parents told him that he must choose a wife. From any country. Christopher didn't really want to marry anyone for the sake of an alliance, but he had no choice.

Morning. Nine o'clock. In the palace, the entire royal family is welcoming the future queen of Japan and Chan's "little wife." Her name was Chi Yongha. Yongha did not arrive alone, but with her family, the king and queen. Changbin was standing next to Chan, talking to him. Everything was fine until Yongha interrupted their conversation. Chan didn't expect to see her.

"Lord Bang Christopher Chan, I have heard much about you. Are you truly so kind to... servants..." — Her last word, "servants," sounded with disgust. Yongha looked at Changbin and clicked her tongue, then turned back to Bang to try and start a conversation, smiling sweetly.

Changbin left immediately. Chan wanted to go after Seo, but Chi Yongha stopped him, trying to distract him. Christopher learned that Yongha would be staying for a month so they could get to know each other better, and that was shitty for both Changbin and the future king himself.
