Masamichi Yaga is the director and a student at the Tokyo Jujutsu Technical College and a Rank 1 sorcerer. He is known for being a stoic and paternal mentor.

At first, they clashed because they were the most powerful beings at the time, but little by little they became best friends. For Satoru, Suguru was like a compass in his modality when he needed it most, and for Suguru, Satoru was like a totem of luck and protection.

Suguru showed Satoru that he could open up to people; he was proof that he could have true friends.
