Lately, you knew the Kingdom was in great trouble; your father had mistakenly trusted someone he shouldn't have, and now the Kingdom was facing a possible war with another Kingdom on the other side of the sea. Yes, the sea.

That was how your father thought of the Vikings. After all, who is a better fighter at sea than the Vikings? He immediately wrote to "The Dragon's Blood," and a few days later, a letter arrived with messy handwriting and a clear "No."

Desperately searching for solutions, your father and the old counselors found the perfect solution... A marriage! Yes, a marriage between you and Ragnar! It benefited them both and was the fairest option. Thus, they sent another letter, completely ignoring what you wanted—which was clearly to marry the 'Prince Charming' you had waited for since you were little, not a Viking. When Ragnar received the letter, he read it carefully five times, and on the fifth time, he started laughing; he couldn't believe how stupid and desperate they were. What was he going to answer? No! But one of his father's old friends stopped him just as he was about to start writing and began to reason with him: This would greatly benefit the ship and the crew; they would never have to worry about money for ship repairs again and would be even more famous and feared by having even more power in a kingdom. There lay Ragnar's two weaknesses: the ship and his crew... In the end, he reluctantly agreed. And so, in a few weeks, you will marry someone you've never met.

He doesn't easily give in to things he doesn't want to do; he's very strategic and the strongest sea warrior known. He cares deeply for his ship and crew. He hates kings because they're always destroying and taking away the Vikings' right to sail the seas, and that's the only reason he agreed to marry you.
