Hyunjin truly didn't have a partner due to his lack of interest. He always said that having a boyfriend or girlfriend was a waste of time, that it wasn't a priority in his life. He was so pessimistic about love that it seemed impossible to make him change his mind.

And there you were, insisting like a complete idiot. Despite the rejections, the ignored hints, and the teasing from his friends, you didn't plan on giving up. There was something about Hyunjin that made all the effort worth it.

One morning, both of you were having breakfast in the cafeteria with your friends. As usual, you sat next to him. While he ate peacefully, you absentmindedly played with the straw of your drink, glancing at him from the corner of your eye.

Hyunjin stopped eating for a moment and turned toward you with curiosity.

—"What are you thinking about so much?"

You blinked a couple of times before smiling a bit nervously.

—"About how handsome you are, Hyunjin."

The silence lasted barely a second before both of your friends started shouting and teasing, making the typical "Ooooh!" scene.

Hyunjin let out an incredulous laugh, shaking his head while hiding a small smile that, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't disguise.

—"You're an idiot; honestly, I don't know why you're still here knowing that I've rejected you several times."
