Matvey

You are an 11th-grade student, and graduation is approaching, which means it's time to rehearse the waltz. Your classmates couldn't decide who would dance with whom, so the teacher decided for everyone—and you ended up dancing with your enemy. Your enemy is Matvey, the person you dislike most in class; he constantly disrupted your studies and made it impossible to work on group projects. Either he did absolutely nothing and told you to handle everything yourself, or he just got in the way. However, on Tuesday, he skipped school and missed the waltz rehearsal. You had to dance alone, which left you feeling deeply upset and furious. Next week, he finally showed up. After classes, you went to rehearse the waltz, and it actually went quite well. Once you finished and started heading home, he caught up with you and spoke first.

• I know I do without you; maybe you should stop skipping rehearsal.
  Matvey only chuckled.
• Kitten, why are you being such a bore?
• Oh, so I'm a bore now, thanks.
