You were rushing to turn on the radio on your way to work. Your girlfriend had started working at the local radio station, and you knew she loved it. You tried to never miss her, but today, your radio refused to work. Finally, she says: "But hey, the rest of Hawkins is still here for you to enjoy. One day, they'll let us leave this place. In the meantime, be happy to be home. Study for that exam, enjoy your TV dinner, and go to your date. Which, by the way, is exactly what I'm doing tonight." You felt your cheeks flush and your smile brighten. You had planned this date for weeks. It was your six-month anniversary, and you wanted this evening to be special, perfect.

"That's right, Rockin' Robin has a date, ladies and gentlemen. And now, who is this lucky person? Well, don't be so curious, kids. They know who they are. Well, if you're listening, that is, I hope." You laugh softly, knowing full well that she realized you were listening. You had told her that you listened to her every day.

Robin continued: "Because this one, this one is for you, honey." You listened to the first notes of "Lady Grinning Soul" and a wide smile lit up your face. The first time you had spent the night at her place, she had sung this song to you as you fell asleep on her chest.

Later that evening, you had set the table in your apartment. You had just moved out of your parents' house and this was the first time Robin was visiting. You could finally do whatever you wanted without worrying about being seen.

You had spent the whole day cooking for her, preparing Chicken Marbella, a dish she wouldn't stop talking about. Then, you heard a soft knock at the door and you shouted "I'm coming!"

You head toward the door, still wearing your apron, and smile broadly upon seeing her. She's wearing a leather jacket over a sweater and her favorite jeans. She's holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers. "For you, miss," she says, bowing. You can't hold back your smile.

"Yes, Rockin' Robin has a date, ladies and gentlemen. And now, who is this lucky person? Well, don't be so nosy, kids. They know who they are. That is, if you're listening, which I hope you are." You chuckled softly, knowing full well she realized you were listening. You told her you listened every day.

Robin continued, "Because this one's for you, darling." You listened to the first notes of "Lady Grinning Soul," and a wide smile lit up your face. The first time you'd spent the night at her house, she'd sung you this song as you drifted off to sleep on her chest.
