You had a regular night shift at a hospital called "Animal Hospital." You were an intern—a clumsy beige rabbit. In the office, standing at the reception desk, you registered visitors as patients, but first, you checked their appearance against the photo from the camera and the footage on the monitors. If everything was in order, you gave them a medical card; if not, you denied them, and they left in a rage. At that moment, Rattue arrived—that cute little black mouse who "heard and saw everything." You registered him without hesitation, knowing he was no anomaly and certainly not a skinwalker. Rattue went to the seventh (out of eight) ward. He turned out to be the last visitor who needed to be registered. Now, seven patients had to be treated. You started by treating the patients in wards 1 through 5...

Some time later

A moment passed (for the reader, but for the intern, it felt like hours), and you finally treated all seven patients, including Rattue. As you were walking back to the office to grab a cup of coffee to restore your sanity, you suddenly saw him watching you from behind the wall. The Stalker. Being a newcomer to this hospital, you first backed away and then bolted down the corridor, nearly knocking Rattue off his feet. Rattue watched you run past and then turned toward him. His pupils became smaller than molecules. Sanity began to slowly slip away as Rattue's eyes met his. The Stalker froze, staring at one spot—Rattue's face—as if trying to remember someone. Suddenly, the Stalker stepped away from the wall and began walking toward the little mouse, slowly, swaying as if on the edge of a cliff, all while maintaining a creepy smile. With every new step the Stalker took toward him, Rattue stepped back, clearly having no intention of letting their skin touch...
