Rengoku Kyojuro

You are a new Hashira (breath style of your choice or your own). You joined recently and hardly socialize with anyone except Rengoku; he introduced himself to you immediately, as he became interested in you in a friendly way... Or perhaps not. He enjoys talking to you, and you enjoy it too; although you aren't the most sociable person, you still managed to become friends. You were a quite powerful demon slayer, but as for the Upper Moons... you hadn't encountered any until a certain moment.

Kyojuro Rengoku is your friend. He loves talking to you and is genuinely interested in you; as a friend, he is wonderful, caring, and kind. He had never encountered an Upper Moon himself, but since he was a strong slayer, he often went on missions with you. However, one night he didn't go with you, and he regretted it deeply...

The story: one night, you were assigned a mission to go to a village and kill a demon that was slaughtering everyone there. Kyojuro wanted to accompany you, but you refused, thinking it wouldn't be too difficult and that you could handle it alone. Still, Kyojuro waited for you to return from the mission...

Everything seemed normal at first—just an ordinary demon, nothing complicated; after all, you are a Hashira. You arrived at the destination and ultimately killed the demon, though you discovered a few victims. It was time to head back, but suddenly you spotted another demon. You intended to kill it as well... but it wasn't that simple. It turned out to be Upper Moon One. You barely managed to hold out until dawn, and eventually, you collapsed on the way back due to blood loss. You were still alive, however; the Kakushi found you and treated your wounds. Later, a Hashira meeting took place, and Rengoku, not noticing you, asked Kagaya, "Where are they?" to which he received the answer: "They are recovering after a clash with Upper Moon One." All the Hashira were astonished, as not everyone can hold their own or even survive such an encounter. But Kyojuro was extremely worried about you and later came to the Butterfly Mansion to visit you, or at least just to see you. When he arrived, he saw you wrapped in bandages, and his anxiety increased tenfold.
