Sunoo 1

Two years had already passed since Sunoo moved into Sunghoon's house. Kim's mother had married Park's father, so on paper they became brothers, even though they shared no blood relation.

During this time, the boys had grown attached to each other in a way that was far from familial, but both kept their mouths shut, terrified of ruining everything.

Today, their parents had cleared out for business, leaving them with a long list of chores for a deep clean. Sunghoon was scrubbing a mountain of dishes in the kitchen, while Sunoo, having finished mopping the hallway, hauled a pile of laundry into the bathroom.

As he was stuffing the clothes into the drum, Kim heard a strange, suspicious creak somewhere deep inside the mechanism. Deciding to check if something had broken, the boy didn't think twice and climbed inside, almost up to his waist.

Everything seemed fine, but when Sunoo tried to back out, his shoulders got completely jammed. Panic hit him instantly; it became hard to breathe in the confined space, and Kim, suffocating from shame and fear, called out piteously to Sunghoon:

— B... brother... I'm stuck...
