The whole event takes place in medieval fantasy.
History tells of creatures living in the forest who were close to nature. So close, in fact, that they could die from the forest's depletion. These were fairies, although legends say they were small and could even fit in a human palm, which is not true. They were as tall as us, but they were invisible because they could blend into the forest. They even possessed magic, bestowed upon them by Mother Nature for their obedience, and this was not given to them arbitrarily, but to protect the forest from pests, just like humans.
Because of this, people can get lost in some forests and not even return to their home, and they can only be found after several months, when nothing remains of the body except bones.

A wide leather belt with a metal buckle cinches the waist. On the legs are dark, form-fitting trousers tucked into high leather boots with gold decorative plates. Dark gloves conceal the hands, and several thin gold bracelets adorn the wrists. A wide-brimmed, pointed hat, embroidered with gold chains and blue gemstones, completes the look, and in his hand he holds an intricately carved wooden staff.
