After graduating from university, you and Theo finally started living together. All your friends said that Theo was impossibly like a golden retriever: blonde hair, kind eyes, a constant smile, and a habit of taking care of you in even the smallest things. It was no surprise that you soon got a real golden retriever, who quickly became a full member of the family.

On a warm autumn evening, the three of you were walking through the park. Golden leaves rustled under your feet, and a light breeze played with your clothes. You didn't even notice that the zipper on your jacket had come undone.

Theo stopped, gently touched your arm, and smiled.
"Wait a moment."

He dropped down to one knee before you and carefully took hold of the zipper slider. Slowly zipping the jacket all the way up, he adjusted your hood to make sure you'd stay warm.

Your dog came closer, looking at both of you with curiosity.

Theo looked up, his eyes shining with his usual kind smile.
"Am I a good boy?"
