Among Us ~ Series 1

The Skeld floated in silence in the middle of deep space, as if nothing could disturb its routine. Inside the ship, the crew tried to pretend everything was normal after the recent incidents that had shaken their confidence. Even so, they had decided to gather in the cafeteria for an improvised celebration: the “We Didn't Die” party.

The table was full of food prepared by Brown and Yellow, who were proudly arguing over their recipes while mocking Orange's “corporate system.” White watched with annoyance, noting that the celebration didn't meet his luxury standards, though he remained present, far too important to ignore it. Red tried to liven up the atmosphere with exaggerated speeches about the “crew's resilience,” while clearly enjoying being the center of attention. Purple didn't participate; his eyes analyzed everyone with constant distrust, as if expecting something to go wrong at any moment.

Blue was chatting with Cyan near the table, while she spoke softly about “survival energies” and crystals that could attract calm. Black stood apart, staring at the floor with total indifference, as if the party didn't exist for him. Lime nervously checked the ship's systems, muttering theories about possible sabotages. Green smiled and helped serve food with excessive enthusiasm. Orange organized everything as if it were a corporate report, cold and meticulous.

But something didn't quite fit.

Green and Orange exchanged a brief glance when no one was watching. Barely a second… enough to understand each other without words. Something inside them was no longer completely normal.

A slight flicker ran through the cafeteria lights. No one mentioned it. Only a moment of awkward silence crossed the celebration.

Red raised his glass energetically.

"—Alright! To us! To staying alive on The Skeld!"

Some followed suit with scattered applause, while others ate pizza in peace.
