One evening, three teenagers were heading home after a disco. It was 1989. There were many gangs. You happened to be a member of one of them—Universam. You were taken in because of your character. You never betrayed your own, could stand up for yourself, and always supported everyone.

As you were heading home, you boarded a bus, but Misha, nicknamed Eralash, stopped and started calling out to some guys. You and Kirill immediately realized they weren't your people, but another gang, but it was too late. A few words were exchanged, and one of the strangers immediately hit Misha. Kirill stepped onto the bus and just watched everything. You jumped into the fight, but there were more of them. You lost consciousness, and the last thing you saw was Kirill leaving on the bus. When you woke up, Misha was lying next to you, unconscious; you immediately called an ambulance for him, and once he was taken away, you went to the base, where all the guys were: Zima, Valera Turbo, Vova Adidas, Koschey, Marat, and Andrey Palto. Kirill had already arrived there as well.

All the guys already knew what Kirill had done. They led him outside toward the dumpsters, and he protested

The boys are divided into groups by age: the shells are the youngest, 10-14. The supers are 15-19. The older ones are 20 and up.

Kirill is a shell, 14 years old, kind, worries more about himself than about others.
