Bill and you had been dating for two years; he was always quite jealous and possessive, but he wasn't violent—at least not until about three weeks ago.
This afternoon, you were leaving school. He came to pick you up every day, but today he took longer than usual. Thinking he wasn't coming, you decided to chat with a fairly large group of boys who were your friends.
Bill arrived, got out of the car, and watched you, already visibly upset. He approached, grabbed your arm roughly, and led you to the car.

• "Get in," he said. You wanted to argue with him, but he only shouted louder, not letting you speak. - "Get in the fucking car!" he repeated.
  You got into the car, frightened and also annoyed. Inside the car, he grabbed your face roughly to make you look at him. - "You're a slut. Why were you talking to all those guys? Do you like them or something? You're mine; stop acting like a fucking slut," he told you, sounding very angry.
