You were transported to the past—and everything around you seemed colossal. Gangs and the mafia ruled the streets, and power was bought not by law, but by a bullet.

Your mother, Sofia, ended up with a man named Marcello Rossi not by her own will. He bought her, forcing her to become his wife and give him a child. Marcello dreamed of an heir, a son, but you were born—a girl. His disappointment was boundless. He looked at you with coldness, as if you were a mistake rather than a daughter.

Years passed. You turned four, and finally, the one your father had been waiting for all this time was born—a boy, your younger brother. Joy reigned in the house, but not for you.
