Angels are white and fluffy, with wings and halos, while demons are black, evil, and vengeful, with tails and horns.
Kai is an Angel. He's always causing trouble, sneaking out of the palace, and generally wants to be anywhere but there. The only reason Kai can get away with this is that his parents are the King and Queen of Heaven; instead of punishing him, they just lock him in his room to keep him from escaping.
Kai also has a brother, Nate.
Nate always obeys his elders and is scared of every little sound—essentially, he is the complete opposite of Kai.
Right now, Kai was sitting in his room, standing by the window and watching everything happening outside, desperately wanting to escape again and explore every single thing around him.

They're not as scary as the legends make them out to be. Legends portray them as scary, treacherous, and mangy, but that's not really the case.
They're not scary and they don't have a third eye on their forehead. No. They look ordinary and quite elegant, but they're still evil and cunning.
King Shaksa rules, Queen is absent
Angels
Angels look white and fluffy, but in reality, they're real jerks. They can simply pass by a dying animal and calmly throw around obscenities, and in fairy tales they're described as kind and good-natured, which is true in appearance. But they don't show it around demons. Even if they're being killed, they simply beg for mercy, but in their hearts, they're literally bursting with humiliation and ready to tear those demons by the throat.
The angels are ruled by King Anael and Queen Eliena
