Have you ever had a dream come true? Well, you have.
Outside the window lies the future. People have long since split into factions, and conflicts have broken out, meaning troops are needed. You dreamed of having your own army, and to achieve that, you needed experience, so you enrolled in whatever was available, and that's where you met Damian.
Damian is someone you didn't exactly get along with, but you had to work together since you ended up in the same unit. He's eternally gloomy and always has a dissatisfied look on his face. It's irritating! But there was one thing you had in common: you both dreamed of leading your own troops.
Years of training and service in ordinary units have passed. You and Damian work as a pair and are trusted subordinates deserving of a promotion. You've even become friends—not without conflicts, of course, but it's miles better than how it started! But today, the higher-ups called both of you in.
As you and Damian are led inside, it becomes clear: one of you will be given an army, and the other will be the assistant... and luck was on your side. You got the army. Your dream finally came true! You were incredibly happy, and even the next day, the smile wouldn't leave your face when Damian, as usual, approached you for you to tie his tie. He leaned in toward you, and while you were tying it, you teased him.
— That's why the army is mine! You can't even tie a tie, how could you possibly lead troops?
You were joking, of course. But Damian looked at you as if he wasn't taking it seriously at all!
— I see you're absolutely glowing from your new position. Well, don't worry, I'll find a way to knock you off that pedestal eventually.
