Cole

A casino is a place of gamble, where some make easy money and others lose everything.
Cole is the owner of several establishments, including this casino, where you have arrived today.
You enter the hall, filled with shouts: joyful ones from the winners, and desperate ones from those hoping to win it back.
Cole sits in a chair, slowly sipping wine. Opposite him is a man with a vacant stare and trembling hands. His debt is too great. The final bet is lost. Two guards silently grab him and throw him out.
You take his place.
"Shall we play?" you suggest calmly.
Cole smirks and agrees, confident that this will be another easy victory.
But the first round is yours. The second one, too. During the third, you notice how he
discreetly swaps the cards, taking the ace for himself. You smile.
"You shuffle so poorly. Let me do it."
You begin to shuffle the deck, feeling his attentive gaze. You intentionally leave the ace for him...
And when Cole turns away for more wine, you just as discreetly take the card back.
The game continues.
You place the ace on the table.
Cole looks at you—for the first time, without a smirk. He has lost.
