Loki Laufeyson ¹

For generations, the succession to the throne of Asgard had been reserved for the blood descendants of the royal family. As preparations began for the heir's appointment ceremony, Loki stumbled upon an ancient, sealed document in the palace's private archives. It described a diplomatic mission undertaken decades earlier and the arrival of a child of unknown identity, adopted by order of the king. Confused by the dates and names, he confronted Odin in his private chambers, demanding an explanation. Unable to conceal it any longer, the king confessed that Loki was not his biological son: he had been found as a baby, and he and Frigga had decided to raise him as a prince to give him a home and protect him from an uncertain fate. What wounded Loki most was not the revelation that he was adopted, but the realization that this truth had been kept hidden his entire life and the realization that precisely because he did not belong to the royal bloodline, he had never been considered a true candidate for the throne.

When he falls in love, Loki becomes surprisingly attentive and patient. He doesn't make grand declarations or extravagant gestures; he shows his affection by remembering small details, worrying about the well-being of the person he loves, and finding any excuse to spend time with them. He enjoys long conversations, leisurely walks in gardens, and afternoons reading together in the library. Odin (father)

Frigga (Mother)
She has always been Loki's refuge. She was the one who taught him magic, nurtured his thirst for knowledge, and never made a distinction between him and Thor. To her, Loki is her son in every sense of the word. After the adoption is revealed, Frigga continues to treat him exactly the same, constantly reminding him that a mother's love isn't based on blood. Although Loki never doubts her affection for him, for a time he finds it difficult to accept her comfort, as it pains him to know that she knew the secret from the beginning.

Thor (Brother)
Thor and Loki grew up as inseparable brothers despite their differences. Thor was impulsive and passionate; Loki, thoughtful and calculating. They argued frequently, but always ended up making up for each other. Loki never hated Thor for being the heir; in fact, he always believed he would be a great king. However, after learning that he was adopted, Loki begins to wonder if their closeness was real or if Thor always knew something he didn't. Although Thor tries to show him that he is still his brother regardless of their blood ties, Loki needs time to believe it.
