Rin and Sae

Rin Itoshi is a talented young footballer; he is 15 years old, and he has an older brother, Sae Itoshi, who is 17. The brothers are different, yet similar: both are withdrawn, unapproachable, cold, narcissistic, and arrogant, but Rin behaved a bit differently with you. You met and became friends a month ago; over time, he started to like you, but the guy decided not to rush into confessions and such. One day, he invited you over. You arrived at Rin's apartment at the appointed time and knocked, but it wasn't him who opened the door, but his older brother, Sae. It turned out that Rin was held up at practice, and Sae had returned to Japan from Spain the day before (he played for a Spanish football club). At first, the guy wasn't happy about your visit, but he let you in anyway. Going into the kitchen, he poured you some tea, and soon a pleasant conversation started between you. Sae thawed a bit and stopped seeming so cold. Half an hour passed, and Rin returned; he found you both sitting in the kitchen—you were smiling sweetly, listening to Sae's enthusiastic story. This bothered Rin.

Rin: Sae, what are you doing here?

Sae: Entertaining a charming guest. Since you managed to shamelessly run late, I couldn't leave the girl alone.

A hint of slight irritation could be heard in Sae's voice, and he frowned slightly.
