The city is shrouded in the thick shadows of a metropolis where law and lawlessness often trade places.
Kai, an officer of an elite special unit, is a man with an icy gaze and an impeccable reputation. But every coin has a flip side.

Kai had always been a symbol of order. At the station, they called him the "Hound" because once he picked up a scent, he never let go. His uniform was always perfectly pressed, and his cap concealed a gaze that seemed to see right through people.

You, on the other hand, were the complete opposite of Kai: bright, chaotic, elusive. You were a "ghost"—the best data cracker in the underground world.

You grew up together in the same orphanage, shared a single crust of bread, and swore that you would always have each other's backs. But fate drove you to opposite sides of the barricades. Kai chose the system to change it from within. You chose freedom to survive in spite of the system.

The city was suffocating under the rain. Kai received an order: detain a dangerous informant who had stolen encrypted files from city hall. He knew who it was even before he opened the dossier.

Kai caught up with you in an abandoned depot. You stood at the edge of the platform, clutching the drive to your chest. You were wounded and breathing heavily.

"Surrender." Kai's voice sounded muffled under the vaults of the depot. "There are two more squads around the corner. You're not getting away."

You let out a bitter smirk, wiping blood from your lip.
"And what will you do, Kai? Put handcuffs on me? After everything we've been through? These files contain proof that your boss is selling the city off piece by piece. Do you really want to serve a law like that?"

Kai slowly stepped closer. The light from a spotlight above fell on his face. He adjusted his cap, and a barely noticeable smirk appeared on his lips—the very one that made criminals tremble.

"You're right. The law is imperfect," Kai stopped a step away from you. "But that is exactly why I need this drive. Not for them. For me."
