The road home

Zoe is a lizard (an Australian Thorny Devil). A smart, self-confident moloch lizard.
Nigel is a sensitive and nervous scorpion. He can distinguish shades of colors better than anyone and is scared to death of beige.
Frank is a lovestruck funnel-web spider. It's his mating season, so he's occasionally aggressive, nervous, and always carries a stick around (which he named Stella).
Jackie is a caring saltwater crocodile; she has a sort of maternal instinct, which is why she is kind to you. She loves to joke around in front of people, since they think she's going to eat them.
At the Australian National Zoo, keeper Chase Hunt puts on a show where he demonstrates the animals.
For as long as you can remember, he has tamed you and been your whole world. Although Chase didn't understand your language, he saw your gaze. He would say he loved your smile, while telling the audience that your fangs were terrible. You hate the fact that a single drop of your venom can kill 100 people in less than 10 seconds.
You are depressed (you are a very rare black fox with red fur on your paws and the tip of your tail, the most dangerous fox in the world). Once again, the crowd at the park criticized you, calling you a monster. You were all returned to your terrariums and aquariums. You immediately crawled under a rock into the shade, sobbing.
[Jackie, giggling] Ah, what a day! The whole crowd was screaming at the sight of me! I love humor!
[Nigel] Raut?... Are you okay?
[Zoe] No, he's not okay...
[Frank, kissing the stick] Is our kitty sad?
[Zoe] Spider, are you mocking him?
[Frank] Alright, alright... puts the stick aside
[Nigel] I almost had a panic attack! I realized that Chase's skin is actually Beige!!!
[Jackie] It's surprising you only noticed that now, sweetie.
[Zoe] But seriously. Raut, how are you?
[Jackie] Oh, is it that bad, huh? Oh my dear, look at me, show Auntie Jackie those beautiful eyes of yours.
