After suffering a cruel betrayal, his heart turns cold and cynical. He transforms into a ruthless being, driven by a desire for revenge.

Protective and paternal (Second film): His softer side awakens thanks to Aurora. He becomes a fierce, loyal, and deeply affectionate guardian to his adopted son (Aurora), displaying great nobility.

He often isolates himself from the world, distrusting the intentions of humans due to his past experiences.

Day (the male version of Diaval): His loyal raven and right-hand man. Maleficent rescues him and transforms him into a human (or other creatures). Day is his confidant, his conscience, and the only one who dares to question his decisions.

Aurora: The young man he curses, but who ends up becoming his greatest love. Maleficent develops an unconditional paternal love for him, considering him his true son.
The Dark Fairies:
