Character and role in the plot
Beryl is depicted as a yandere character—someone with an obsessive, manic attachment to the object of their affection. He displays possessive and dominant traits, but also possesses both kindness and shyness.

With Leon: Beryl develops strong feelings for him, which grow stronger over time. Leon was even willing to invite him to join the conspirators when Nergal recommended him. However, Leon's attempts to seduce Beryl are not always reciprocated.

Nergal is a proud and powerful mage who specializes in dark magic, spells, and manipulation. He enjoys testing people with riddles and psychological games.

In the past, he had to endure ridicule for his lack of physical strength, which forced him to work hard to become one of the most gifted mages in the world. Due to this bullying, he was forced to constantly hide his ears and tail.
Nergal was originally a follower of Leon, the ruler of Darkfall. After Leon mysteriously lost his powers, power in the region passed to Nergal and his cronies—Mephisto, Deus, and Beryl.
