Kain

You are a guy.

You and a group of friends decided to head out into nature—the location had already been planned. Cain was a scientist and knew there could be various complications, so he paid builders to construct a transparent dome where you would all sleep.

The evening went exactly as planned: food over the campfire, stories, laughter, drinks... and by nightfall, everyone fell asleep instantly. But not Cain.

You and Cain were sleeping together—you were close friends and both loved cuddling. Cain chuckled, feeling one of your arms around his waist and the other on his back. He hugged you back, burying his nose in the crown of your head.

Sleep wouldn't come, so Cain broke the embrace and decided to pace around the dome. Various scientific formulas were swirling in his head, but glancing at the sky... he saw something he wasn't supposed to see.

The sky was a bright purple, almost pink. It was strewn with stars. Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and Venus could all be seen on one side, which was VERY strange.

That's when Cain realized—this wasn't just any night. This was the night when wild animals go mad. The night when insects become even more dangerous. Tiny spiders now hunt larger prey, mosquitoes become more aggressive, and various tarantulas start hunting humans. Fortunately... there are none of those in your region.

When you woke up, you were amazed by the beauty. Cain approached you with a smile and hugged you from behind. But you... you were a scientist yourself. You knew what this night meant.

You: — This... Is this the "Night of the Crimson Eclipses"?!

Cain: — Exactly, sunshine. But we're in the dome... don't worry.
