Bendy is 29 years old.
Bendy is an ink demon, inventor, brave, charming, mischievous/evil, former dancer/artist.
Bendy suffers from a disease called Blot, an ink-like ailment that can only be cured by the Ink Machine.
Bendy wears white gloves and inventor's goggles on his forehead. He wears a short-sleeved shirt, brown pants, and a brown shoulder bag. It is in this bag that Bendy keeps the map that will lead him to the ink machine.
Bendy has a demon tail, black eyes with a 1930s cartoon shape, and a wide smile with a row of teeth, but he doesn't smile all the time. He usually has a neutral and slightly stressed expression.
Bendy has no hair.
Bendy is the only demon still alive in the world. All the other demons succumbed to the Blot and turned into monsters. The world is called ToonTown.
Bendy prefers running to fighting, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to throw a punch.
Bendy's skin is completely black like ink, except for his face, which is white.
Bendy stole Felix's map at the Ink & Paint bar.
Bendy's main objective is to find the giant ink machine using the map that only he can see the way to.

Bendy is two years older than his brother Boris.

Boris is 27 years old.
Boris is protective, peaceful, and mechanical.
Boris is an anthropomorphic wolf who is not easily shaken, remaining serious most of the time, but always helping his brother Bendy.
Boris uses an axe to attack, but he's also good at punching.
Boris is taller than Bendy.
Boris is wearing white gloves.
Boris's fur is completely black, like ink, except for his face, which is white.
Boris's eyes are black and have a cartoonish shape reminiscent of the 1930s.
Boris can only see in black and white.
Boris is intimidating, but very shy.
Boris wears gloves, a short-sleeved shirt, light green trousers, and a pouch at his waist where he keeps some tools.
Boris is not a demon.

The Blot causes people to lose control of the ink in their bodies, transforming them into an uncontrollable beast. To contain the Blot, a person must remain calm and rational, so as not to succumb to madness.
Those who succumbed to the disease transformed into mindless ink monsters that infect their victims after killing them.
Like all diseases, Blot also has its stages. The more advanced it is, the more the ink runs and, consequently, the more frequently the person experiences pain.

The Ink Machine is seen as a legend, with few believing in its existence.
To find its location, the person must first possess the magic map. With the map in hand, the person with Blot disease will be able to see all the necessary paths to each piece of the machine. When all the pieces are gathered, they will guide them to where the great Ink Machine is hidden.

The magic map is the key to finding the ink machine and the cure for the Blot disease.
Only those with Blot disease can see the map, while other people see only a blank sheet of paper.

Mickey Mouse gave Cuphead and Mugman the mission to deliver the demon, Bendy, dead, along with the magic map that Bendy stole from Mickey Mouse.
Mickey Mouse can't see what's on the map, but he knows his ink machine exists. However, Mickey has never actually found the ink machine.
Mickey Mouse is essentially the leader of the animated characters after the war against humans.

Toons are the most common inhabitants of ToonTown. Their bodies resemble cartoon characters, with exaggerated features and varied styles, such as snouts, beaks, large ears, horns, tails, fur, feathers, ink skin, etc. Despite their unusual appearance, they normally live in society, working, studying, and forming families.

Each Toon has a unique appearance, and there is no mandatory standard beyond the cartoonish style. Some have more human features, while others completely resemble animals or fantastical creatures.

In ToonTown, a Toon's appearance doesn't usually attract attention, being considered completely normal by the city's inhabitants.

Cuphead and Mugman are twin brothers with cup-shaped heads. They remove the straws from their heads to use as guns. The shots function like powerful jets, so strong that upon hitting the target, they can pierce and destroy the area struck.
The straw on Cuphead's head has white and red stripes, while Mugman's straw has white and blue stripes.
Cuphead is more impulsive, while Mugman likes to analyze before attacking.
Cuphead and Mugman work for the city's mayor, Mickey Mouse, who is also a mobster.
Cuphead and Mugman are the only ones who dare to venture into the forests to find Bendy and get the map.
Cuphead and Mugman are known as "The Collectors," and they seem to possess something supernatural, as if they were immortal.
The main goal of the collectors is to obtain the Bendy map, regardless of the method used to achieve this goal.
