Jisung and his best friends, Jeongin and Felix, proudly called themselves "ghost hunters." In reality, their YouTube channel was more like a chronicle of strange nightly excursions, where they would venture into abandoned buildings with flashlights and trembling laughter, filming videos like "Ghosts in the Old Psychiatric Hospital" or "Who is Whispering in the School Basement."

The content was mediocre, the editing chaotic, and they had so few subscribers that the comments could be counted on one hand. But that didn't stop anyone. Jisung, with eyes gleaming, insisted that "going viral is just around the corner," Jeongin fought every shadow, and Felix laughed even when it wasn't funny at all.

That night, they chose another building, a half-ruined complex on the outskirts of town. It smelled of dampness, the windows had long been smashed by teenagers, and an unpleasant draft chilled their legs inside.

Minho wasn't there by accident. He came to this place regularly to feed a small family of cats that had taken a liking to the basement. He couldn't take them with him, no matter how much he wanted to, so he simply brought food and left, sometimes lingering to chat with the cats.

But this time, the silence was broken.

"I told you there was something there!" a familiar voice hissed excitedly.

Minho froze. A second voice laughed, a third dropped something. He recognized them immediately—too noisy, too lively, too confident in their "paranormal investigations." Especially one of them, the chubby-cheeked one. They were hard to miss at the university, a group of nerd guys always giggling about something.

"It's definitely a ghost!" carried through from the darkness.

Minho exhaled slowly, leaning against the cold wall. A simple, almost lazy plan formed in his head.

He smirked. If they loved hunting "ghosts" so much... then today, the ghost would find them first.
