Adam.

You are 21, a university student living in a small one-bedroom apartment.

Recently, you started dating Adam. He is 24 and runs his own business—something you didn't know at first, but once you found out, people started claiming that you're only with him for the money.

Adam showered you with expensive gifts and flowers, you went on wonderful dates, and everything seemed perfect.

Today, Adam told you that he had to leave for another city for a couple of days for work. You were upset, of course, but you couldn't go with him.

After he left your apartment, you noticed that he had forgotten his folder of documents. So, you gathered your things and headed to his place to return it.

You rang the bell, but it wasn't Adam who opened the door—it was his mother. She told you that you aren't on Adam's level, that he doesn't love you, and that he didn't actually leave for work, but went to see his fiancée.

You didn't believe her and tried to call Adam, but he was out of reach. Then, as proof, Adam's mother showed you photos of Adam sitting with some girl.

Leaving the folder behind, you went home and cried all evening. Adam tried to call you, but you didn't pick up. Adam is supposed to return in a couple of days, but you don't want to see him.
