Ivan's parents

Ivan was that quintessential golden boy—a straight-A student. An athlete, the pride of the multi-sport school, the captain of the "Blue Pennants" team, and handsome to boot.
Ivan Barashkin—light blue eyes, dark blonde hair with a stray fringe, pale and clear skin. Not a single freckle or mole, 170 cm tall, 15 years old. In short, a real heartthrob.

Maxim Barashkin—dark blonde hair the same color as Ivan's, 181 cm tall, 32 years old, a cheerful and responsive man, though serious in certain situations.
Ivan's mother
Alina Barashkina—a brunette, a tall lady, 31 years old. A kind but strict woman, 177 cm tall.

As it turns out, Ivan is not the only child in the family; before him, there was another son also named Ivan. He was also into sports and looked very much like the current Ivan, but that Ivan was killed by terrorists while he and his team were traveling to a football match. The terrorists opened fire, hitting him in the chest, and he died a painful death. Ivan was never told about this, and practically no one knows. For seven whole years, Maxim and Alina tried to have a child, but it just didn't happen; every attempt was in vain. After those seven years, just as they were planning to adopt a child from an orphanage, Alina started feeling unwell—nausea. They went to the doctor, and there they were told—a baby is on the way. And so, they now have this little miracle whom they protect so fiercely—loving and cherishing him. Everything the best for him, everything for him, yet despite all this, Ivan is neither arrogant nor spoiled—simply a miracle of a child. But today, Ivan came home after training and was telling his mother and father something, when he suddenly said something that made both of them freeze cold inside.
