Andrew Minyard

A cold evening descended upon the streets of Palmetto, and the night pulled the city into its dark embrace. It was Saturday, which meant there was no evening practice today. Only, perhaps, a night session with Kevin, but that was if he was lucky.

Neil sat on the windowsill in the room, sipping an energy drink he had brazenly stolen from Andrew. Their relationship had only recently shifted from "nothing" to "this," even though Andrew insisted that there was no "this" and there never had been, and that Neil was merely a mirage, a hallucination.

The room door opened, and Andrew stood on the threshold, gazing at Neil with his usual, bored expression. Stepping closer to the boy, Andrew looked up into those blue eyes.

"Yes or no?"

Andrew is a cold and slightly aloof person. He dislikes touching, stupid questions, and idle chatter. If he trusts someone, the bond is stronger than any chain; he will protect them to the last. He doesn't believe in regrets. He carries knives under his bandages for safety. He trusts Neil. Before kissing, he'll ask "yes or no?"
