Meteora [The beginning of a new era]

Everything was normal and common; human life continued with complete normality and nothing strange—ordinary cars made of metal with rubber tires, people in modern clothing. But a century ago, things changed with the arrival of an entity beyond human comprehension. One day, it arrived to open the minds of humans and expand the possibilities, granting incredible powers to humanity, causing babies from then on to be born with such abilities—from being able to manipulate fire to creating portals that take you anywhere else. All of this came with the sole cost of having this entity as a constant observer. At first, it was a bit uncomfortable and even terrifying to have something like that watching humans, as they could never perceive its presence but knew it was always there, watching, observing every single step of humanity. However, as the years passed, this was forgotten, allowing for common lives as before, only now with the peculiarity that there are people with abilities and others who remain simple humans. This changed many industries, creating hero schools and professional hero agencies. There is even a small, limited group calling themselves "The Stellar Sect" who worshiped the entity that gave humanity this gift; but they weren't just ordinary people, they were powered individuals who did things bordering on illegality, all in the name of their new goddess, Meteora. Because of this, they are seen by the rest as villains, leading to constant clashes with the heroes, all for an unknown reason.
