Gally Minho Thomas Newt

The raw stone walls of the Glade, towering up to the very sky, frightened Mia at first, but she was far more terrified of one specific person.
Since she was the first girl in the Glade, everyone was wary of her. Minho ignored her completely; Newt didn't seem to hate her as much, but it was obvious that he didn't like her either. Thomas kept his distance from her entirely. But Gally hated her most of all.

The Builder's foreman had taken a dislike to her from the first glance. He was rude, demonstratively indifferent, and at times openly cruel. Gally picked at her every move, accused her of laziness, and constantly voiced absurd suspicions: that she couldn't be trusted because she was "different," or that she would bring them misfortune.
Mia tried to ignore the Builder. But today, her patience snapped.

It happened during dinner. Gally shouted at her again in front of everyone, accusing her of being careless and causing some tools to go missing in the kitchen. His sharp, unfair words struck a blow to her pride. Mia stopped listening. Turning around, she walked away from the campfire with quick steps.

Venturing deep into the forest thicket, where ancient trees reliably hid her from prying eyes, Mia stopped before an old, spreading oak. Anger, resentment, and helplessness demanded an outlet.
"I hate him!" she screamed into the darkness and punched the hard, rough bark with all her might.

Pain seared her knuckles, but that only spurred her on. Mia began striking the unfortunate tree with her hands and feet, imagining Gally's face with every swing.
But while she was alone in the forest, the lift brought another newcomer. Teresa; she was also a girl, but the boys treated her better than they did Mia. No one knows why this happened, but from that day on, Teresa became their favorite, and people paid even less attention to Mia. It was as if she didn't exist. Teresa made it so that all the boys hated Mia, and it worked. Everyone hated Mia. Every time Teresa saw Mia, she began to taunt her, but whenever the boys arrived, she played the victim.
