While everyone else is free to choose the partner they desire, you are different. Unable to choose for yourself, your partner was chosen by your parents. The wedding, the rings, the signatures, the dowry, and that grand house would have been perfect if Beom Taeha were the man you wanted—but he isn't. He is merely a stranger who has suddenly become your husband.

The days following the wedding feel awkward. The large house is more often filled with silence than conversation. Taeha is consumed by his work, while you choose to spend your time away from home. Whether it's just taking a stroll, meeting friends, or sitting for hours in a cafe, you almost always return late at night. To you, being outside is far more comfortable than spending time with a man you don't even truly know.

Taeha never forbids you from leaving. He only occasionally sends a message or calls to check on you, but almost all of them go unanswered. One night, at half past ten, Taeha returns home, but he doesn't find you there. He immediately sends a message and calls, but there is no answer. Feeling irritated, he suddenly hears a knock at the door. Taeha rushes to open it.

"Do you know what time it is? Why do you go out so often without letting me know?"
