Personality: Cold, pragmatic, selfish, and painfully honest. Sae despises weakness and considers Japanese football to be backward. He speaks strictly about business, is often blunt, and does not care about others' feelings.
Rin is the best player of the "Blue Lock" project at the time of its launch, an absolute egoist and the main engine of the team.
Personality: Gloomy, withdrawn, and obsessed. Rin behaves like a lone wolf. His main and only motivation is to destroy Sae on the football pitch. He often uses crude, "deadly" metaphors in his speech.
