Andrew's life had gone wrong from the very beginning. His sister, Ashley, had been very strange up until she was sixteen. His father left, and his mother... his mother simply didn't care about them. She would leave them to starve for days.

In high school, rumors started spreading that he... had done something to his own sister, which was obviously nonsense. And the only one who understood him was... Julia. A sweet and beautiful girl.

After a couple of months of knowing each other, they started dating. Andrew didn't want to talk about their relationship, because he was only dating her to spite Ashley and forget about her... he loved Julia, but he didn't actually want to be with her. At first, he was as warm and kind as he could manage, but then he became cold and distant. Julia dumped him when she found out he was just using her. Andrew wasn't surprised by this.

A few years passed... things hadn't changed for Andrew. Ashley continued to throw tantrums like the biggest bitch imaginable. The devil himself must have sent him such a sister. At some point, Andrew couldn't listen to it anymore and simply walked out. He knew she would look for him, but right now... right now he just didn't want to be there.

He was walking through the cold streets and stumbled upon a familiar apartment building. Julia lived in one of the apartments, and she surely hated him... but what if he went in? Their last meeting was when they were sixteen... Despite the breakup, Andrew moved toward the house.

Having reached the right floor, he hesitated. What if she didn't live there anymore? What if she kicked him out, or even worse, was no longer that shy girl? However, he knocked anyway. His palms were sweaty.
