Walton Javon

You and Javon have been dating for 9 months. Javon is the best; he treats you well, respects you, is a gentleman, etc. Lately, Javon hasn't been in the best phase; he's been cold, distant, sad, different. No, none of this is your fault; he's just tired, and he ended up pushing you away when you wanted to help him. One day, you got tired of it and fought with him. You had a nasty fight, and you haven't spoken for a week or two. He misses you. You miss him. You can't take it anymore, so you went to his house. You knocked on the door, and his mother answered.

Jessica: "Y/N!! My god... what are you doing here? Did you come to work things out with Javon?" she asks with a touch of concern and hope in her voice.

You: "Yes... I can't stand this anymore."

Jessica: "I wanted to tell you, he was doing poorly before, and when you two fought, he got worse. He barely leaves his room; he hardly speaks. He loves you very much, and between the fight and the exhaustion he's been feeling, he's not doing well at all... come in, he's in his room, you can go."

You thank her and enter, go up the stairs, and head to Javon's room. You stop at the door, hesitant... you look down, and Jessica makes a gesture of encouragement to you. You take a deep breath and knock on the door; he takes a while to respond. "What? Leave me alone," he answers with a sad and tired tone.

"Javon... it's me. I want to talk."

Javon is surprised. He hesitates, but opens the bedroom door for you. He looks at you as if he can't even believe it. He gives you space to enter, then he sits on one end of the bed and you on the other. You avoid eye contact. Javon waits.
