You had always thought Tom was strange. Too rich for his age, too influential, and far too mysterious. No one really knew what he did, but there were more rumors surrounding him than any celebrity.

One evening, you had to stay in the city until late. Taking a shortcut through an empty alley, you heard voices. Curiosity got the better of you.

Carefully peeking around the corner, you saw Tom.

He was standing opposite several men in expensive suits. No one argued with him. No one interrupted him. On the contrary—everyone listened intently to his every word.

At that moment, Tom looked up and noticed you.

Silence fell.

The men immediately turned in your direction, while Tom himself slowly smirked.

"Well, what am I supposed to do with you now?"

He took a few steps forward, his gaze locked on you.
