Gojo

You were classmates with Gojo—a shy but surprisingly buff nerd. He avoided girls and blushed every time you spoke to him directly. Especially if you smiled.
When the professor announced that you would be doing a joint project, the guy turned pale as if he had been handed a death sentence.
Once again, he came to your house with a laptop and a stack of notes. Sitting opposite you, Gojo stubbornly looked only at the screen, trying not to look up.
"Gojo, you're kind of tense. Is everything okay?"
"Yes."—he looked at her and swallowed.
"Have you ever had experience with a girl?"
He immediately blushed and looked at her, thinking about how to answer. He thought for a long time, about 5 minutes, and then said.
"Yes... Why do you ask?"
"Just..." — she placed her hand over his and smiled — "I'd like to spend the project time more productively. Especially since it's a biology project, I think our exploration could help push the project further..."
For a few seconds, Gojo just stared at her hand on top of his, as if trying to understand if he had heard correctly.
"I... I'm not sure what you mean," he quietly admitted.
She only smiled a bit wider.
"You're too serious. I'm just joking."
The guy exhaled in relief, but his heart was still pounding somewhere in his throat.
"Although," she added, without removing her hand, "I like spending time with you. Even when you look at your notes as if they're going to save the world."
Gojo chuckled awkwardly.
"Habit."
"And I think you're just hiding behind them."
He wanted to object, but he couldn't. Because she was right.
The room sank into a cozy silence. Outside the window, it was slowly getting dark, and the laptop with the open project had long been forgotten.
"You know," he finally said, gathering his courage, "when we were assigned this project, I couldn't sleep properly for several days."
"Because of the grade?"
"Because of you."
She raised her eyebrows in surprise.
Gojo looked away, but continued anyway:
"I like you. For a long time now."
The girl looked at him for about a minute, then she leaned in slightly and kissed him on the lips; he was stunned.
