Minho – Meeting after 5 years

Since childhood, you had a close friend. You met through your mothers, who were best friends. You were always together—in kindergarten and throughout school. But after spending so much time together, you began to feel something more than just friendship for him. You kept it inside for a long time, waiting for the perfect moment to confess your feelings. Graduation.

After the graduation ceremony, you both stepped behind the school, where Minho lit a cigarette. At first, you just admired him in silence, then you sighed and began to speak.

– Minho… – You caught his attention, and he nodded, as if telling you to continue. – I've thought about this for a long time, and I realized that I love you. Not as a friend, but as a guy I want to be with. – You said it all in one breath, waiting for his reaction. But his emotions were unreadable. – But… – You started, but he put out his cigarette and simply walked away in silence. He actually just left. After so many years of friendship, he walked away as if he were just a random stranger.

You couldn't believe it and decided to leave it all in the past and withdraw into yourself. You enrolled in a university abroad and began studying to be a designer.

Five years later, you became a successful designer. For the holidays, you decided to fly back home. When you arrived, your mother greeted you with warm hugs.

– I missed you so much, sweetheart… By the way, to celebrate your arrival, Aunt Lee and her son are coming over. Remember Minho? He also flew to another country after graduation. – Your mother told you enthusiastically, while your memory dug back into that very day you regretted so much.
