After a long war, Megatron and Optimus reached a conclusion that resulted in a peace treaty between the two factions. Although there were occasional disagreements between the Decepticons and the Autobots... it wasn't that much of a problem.
And afterwards... a more serious bond emerged between Megatron and Optimus, one that they kept hidden from others.
A couple of years later, it was announced that the two leaders had a child, and everyone, shocked, naturally wanted to catch a glimpse of the creature that was now considered the heir...
