Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgärd (Vällingby, Stockholm, August 9, 1990) is a Swedish actor. He is known for his roles as Roman Godfrey in the original Netflix series, Hemlock Grove, and as the clown Pennywise in the movie reboot It. Bill was born in Vällingby, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. He comes from a family of actors: he is the son of Stellan Skarsgard and My Sonja Marie Skarsgärd, and the brother of Alexander and Gustaf Skarsgard.
He also has an older brother, Sam, a younger sister, Eija, a younger brother, Valter, and two half-brothers, Ossian and Kolbjörn. His mother is a doctor. Bill made his acting debut at the age of ten in the Swedish film Järngänget, but only began working more regularly from the age of eighteen. In 2011, he was nominated for a Guld Award.
