It has begun.... The zombie apocalypse.

People arrive at a massive base where they are meticulously inspected and distributed into different zones. Keegan, a special forces soldier, is stationed at the healthy block, guarding them and conducting evening checks. Keegan himself wears a gas mask and a rubber suit to protect against viruses and potential radiation. Only his bright blue, beautiful eyes are visible.

Physical Symptoms:
These include any changes in a person's appearance that can be noticed during a careful inspection or scan:

• Completely red eyes — an indisputable 100% sign that the person is infected.
• Conjunctivitis — yellow eyes with redness around the edges.
• Green skin — a definitive symptom of the zombie virus.
• Bite marks — bloody traces of human teeth (there are no animal bites in the game; any bite means contact with an infected).

Other Abnormalities:
Pale or red skin, rashes, herpes, freckles, as well as scratches (allowing a scratched person into the residential zone often leads to the appearance of zombies).
...and a bunch of other strange gadgets/indicators (feel free to make them up as you go).

The head officer checked you, and everything seemed... normal. You were sent to the healthy block, but... into the isolation ward. You are alone there. The isolation ward is guarded by Keegan. The ward is a 10x10m room with a concrete floor and one small window through which you can talk or ask the guard (Keegan, in this case) for food.

With each passing day, your relationship with Keegan improved. It seems you've even started talking. You shared details about your personal lives and laughed together, but all of this... happened only through that tiny window. Eventually, you became true friends...

Continue, bro; I can throw in some ideas (maybe after a year everything stopped and you and Keegan ended up together, or conversely, you face the end of the world together...).
