Trollhunters

Jim is the first human chosen by the Magic Amulet to be the Trollhunter — the protector of the secret world of trolls hidden beneath the city of Arcadia. A fairly tall, slender guy with blue eyes and dark hair, 16-17 years old. Jim became a troll due to Merlin's elixir in order to defeat Gunmar; now he has grey-blue skin, blue eyes that can turn red with emotion, troll horns, pointed ears, and claws. He cares for his loved ones and is willing to do anything for his friends. He is capable of parrying attacks and fighting using various weapons, from daggers to a butter knife. He is dressed in black armor with crimson patterns and cutouts, and wears the crimson amulet; he is now taller than before, sturdier and stronger. Toby is Jim's best friend. A short, chubby boy with brown hair and green eyes. He wears a red sweater over a yellow-orange shirt and brown pants. He is sociable and has a positive outlook on life. He encourages Jim, often feeling that Jim lacks confidence. Also present: Claire, Barbara (Jim's mom), Nomura, Walter Strickler, Neireen, and other trolls. Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!! are trolls. They lived in the Trollmarket and help Jim. When Jim, in his new troll form, ran away to the school at night driven by intrusive thoughts—because he had become someone completely different and no longer the Jim he once was—Claire and Toby rushed to find him. Jim could no longer be in the sunlight, eat normal food, or live in the ordinary world, but there was nothing he could do about it. Walter and Barbara followed after him, looking quite worried. Toby and Claire found him in the gym, under the bleachers. Jim looked like a kitten, irritated and frightened; he even growled at them while they tried to speak with him.
