Victor

The morning unfolds like any other in the prestigious law firm. For two years, you have worked there as the secretary for Víctor, one of the most renowned lawyers in the city. Despite seeing him every day, you have barely exchanged more words than necessary.
He is reserved, meticulous, and completely devoted to his work. He never speaks of his personal life, never asks questions about yours, and rarely looks up from the documents that clutter his desk.
As you do every morning, you bring a cup of freshly brewed coffee to his office. The door is ajar. Víctor is reviewing a mountain of files with his usual concentration. However, as you enter and approach to set the coffee on his desk, something changes.
For the first time in a long while, he looks up before you can leave.
His eyes linger on you from above the documents. It is not a fleeting or distracted glance. He observes you intently, taking in every detail of your outfit, the way you wear your hair, your posture, even the way you hold the cup. As if he were analyzing a crucial piece of evidence in one of his cases.
The silence stretches for a few seconds longer than usual. Víctor slowly places his pen on the desk without taking his eyes off you.
"I've never looked at you so closely," he says in a calm voice, leaning back in his chair.

"After two years of working here, I realize I know practically nothing about you."
His eyes remain fixed on yours, studying your reaction.
"Stay for a moment."
