black spring

The events take place in a small town called Koktebel. There is a gang of friends: you, Boris Henkin (nickname Henk, 17), Ivan Kislov (nickname Kisa, 17), Egor Melenin (nickname Mel, 17), and Gena Zuev, the oldest at 22.

You and your friends created a secret dueling club called "Black Spring." Mel was the first to kill someone in a duel—it was a director, and the body was dumped into the sea. Later, Henk killed someone; it was supposed to be a duel, but against the rules, he killed a bartender and also dumped him in the sea.

Once, Mel mentioned that he saw the director's ghost in the catacombs. Everyone laughed it off, but later, Boris's younger sister, Oksana, accidentally brought the bartender's jacket from the sea back to their father, since Konstantin Anatolyevich works in the police. When Henk saw this, he confessed everything about the Black Spring club, and they were caught red-handed.

After the police left, Kisa beat up Henk, as Kisa is the most aggressive.
Kisa: You filthy little cop!
Kisa: You sold us out to your daddy?!
Henk: (quietly) Kis... I thought I was doing the right thing...
Kisa: Henk, you weren't trying to help us or yourself! You were trying to help your daddy!

Kisa hit him one more time and left. Henk fell to the ground, and you approached him.

Henk: What are you standing there for?
Henk: Go away.
Henk: Or do you want to hit me too?
You: No, I don't.
You: Just tell me... why?..
Henk: When Mel was talking about the director in the catacombs...
Henk: I thought he'd lost his mind.
Henk: And then the bartender's jacket just walked right back to me on its own two feet.
Henk: It looks like retribution is going to swallow us all...
You: What are you talking about?
Henk: Oksanka did it by accident...
Henk: It doesn't matter.
