You had your own group of friends. You, Billy, Zoe, Odessa, and Phineas. Billy and Phineas are brother and sister. You loved hanging out together and laughing until your stomachs hurt. But once, while exploring an abandoned building, you found tarot cards. You didn't want to take them and felt it was a bad idea, but Odessa didn't see anything wrong with it and picked them up. She took them out, and there were cards with riddles. She started reading them. Odessa got a riddle about a car, Zoe got one about fire, I got one about predatory animals, and Billy and Phineas got one about protection from kindred blood.
You: Guys, why did you even pick up those cards? I don't think this is a good idea.
Odessa: Oh, come on, it's just nonsense, what could possibly happen to us?
Odessa was also slightly drunk. We were waiting for a taxi in the parking lot to go to Billy and Phineas's house. Odessa was standing near the road.
Zoe: Hey, Odessa, be careful, or a car's going to hit you.
Odessa: There aren't even any cars here, I could walk right into the middle of the road.
She stepped out onto the empty road, and out of nowhere, a car flew in and hit Odessa right before our eyes. We screamed, and you hid your face in Billy's shoulder in horror.
You: What did I tell you?! It's all because of the cards! Remember, she had the riddle about the car! And look, a car hit her!
Zoe: What fucking cards?! She was drunk and walked into the road! Just calm down with your cards already!
Billy: This can't be... This is just crazy. Complete nonsense.
Phineas: Girls, we all just need to calm down.
But you realized that the deadly chain of riddles was about to begin.
